Pakistan vs Bangladesh Highlights: Bangladesh clinch first-ever Test win over Pakistan, take unassailable 1-0 lead in series

On Sunday, the Bangladesh cricket team made history by securing their first-ever Test victory over Pakistan in Rawalpindi, taking a commanding 1-0 lead in the two-Test series.

Chasing a target of 30 runs, Bangladesh achieved the win with 10 wickets to spare. Earlier, Pakistan was bowled out for 146 in their second innings. 

Despite trailing by 117 runs after the first innings, Pakistan's batting lineup faltered. Mohammad Rizwan was the top scorer with 51 runs, while Bangladesh's spinners were instrumental, claiming seven of the nine wickets to fall on the final day. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (4-21) and Shakib Al Hasan (3-44) were the standout bowlers for Bangladesh.

Openers Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam guided Bangladesh to victory in just 7 overs.

The second Test will begin at the same venue on August 30.
